Marcia Clark Smith, 81, of Magnolia, Texas went to be with God November 7, 2023.  She was born May 21, 1942 in New York, NY to the late Richard T. Clark and Constance Y. Cole.

Marcia lived a life devoted to her children.  Her faith was strengthened by her committed circle of lifelong friends.  She found joy in the beauty of nature and art.  She published poetry and photos, and painted, crocheted, knitted and crafted as hobbies.  She was an incredible giver to all she loved as well as those she befriended who were less fortunate.  She spent 25+ years with her company, Pakhoed Corporation, before retirement.

She is survived by her three children; Kenneth E. Neef and wife Susan, Daniel A. Neef and wife Danette and Lacelyn Y. Neef-Hedrick and husband Ashton; her brother Chris Y. Clark and wife Jenny.  She also is survived by six grandchildren – Christopher Neef and wife Brandy, Casey Neef, Erin Neef, Coletun Neef and wife Kelley, Alexis Neef, Cody Hedrick and wife Rhianna and six great-grandchildren – Michael Neef, Adina Neef, Dorian Neef, Brittany Hedrick, Alex Hedrick, and Conner Hedrick and niece Lindsey Clark.

Including her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Linda D. Clark, and son Richard T. Highley.

Interment is to be a private event for the family per her request.
