With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Mandi Jill Smith (née Gresham) on May 30, 2025, in her home in Pinehurst, Texas. Born on February 14, 1971, in Lubbock, Texas, Mandi lived a life marked by unwavering love, devotion, and service to others.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 26 years, Jack Edward Smith III, and their cherished children, Jacob Ethan Smith, Morgan Jillian Smith, and Joseph Evan Smith. She also leaves behind her dear mother Betty Gresham, her loving sister Michelle Hassell and her family, and her devoted brother Todd Gresham and his family.

Mandi graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor's in Science and Nursing and dedicated her career to women's health as a compassionate and skilled RN. She was the rock of her family, a steadfast protector of those she loved, and an immeasurably selfless person.

Her grace, strength, and kindness touched countless lives. She found joy in the simple and beautiful aspects of life—dogs, music, skiing, hiking, swimming, and the great outdoors—and in her final days, she lovingly prepared her home and garden as a sanctuary for those she left behind.

Though our hearts are heavy, we find solace in knowing that Mandi is at peace, embraced by the Lord, reunited with her loved ones in heaven, and surrounded by the dogs she adored. Her presence will never fade; she will live on through the love, strength, and memories she left us.

A funeral service to honor Mandi will be held on June 13th at 11 a.m. at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, 7810 Cypresswood Dr, Spring, TX 77379. A live stream will be available for those unable to attend.

The Smith family deeply appreciates the love, prayers, and support from friends and loved ones during this difficult time. Mandi's spirit will continue to guide and inspire us, and her love will be felt forever.

In honor and celebration of Mandi, it's been suggested that a spot/splash/sparkle of pink (along with hearts and angels) would be appropriate to wear, or accent with, the day of her services.
