Malorie Elain Gelormini was called home, February 22, 2021. Malorie has been battling stage III uterine cancer and has shown the world an unmatched level of grace and strength. We have watched in awe while she navigated the uncertainty of managing her own healthcare in a time that required her to attend appointments, treatments, and surgeries alone. Her optimism never wavered. She dried the tears of those around her and always had words of reassurance for those that loved her during the hardest time of her life. Her faith was strengthened during her battle, not diminished. She sought the Lord, and He answered her with His presence and His peace. She began to speak about the work He was doing in her life and the changes being made in her heart. She told the world she was a believer.

Too many people to count have been impacted by Malorie. Her giant personality and unforgettable quirks left imprints that will never be forgotten by all that knew her. Knowing Malorie, was loving Malorie. If you were her friend, you were her friend forever. Her home is still the same house we all spent countless nights at, and the memories seep out of the walls… from girl scout days with all the Greenwood girls, to swim meets, to choir performances, to some of the craziest memories of our lives at Klein Forest High School. She was a cosmetologist and worked at many salons. She was characterized by her love of hair and beauty products… they were often spilling out of her purse everywhere she went. Shiny hair and perfect makeup were some of her favorite things.

She excelled in accounting and spent many years running office finances for multiple companies. She was a devoted daughter. Mom was her best friend and there were no secrets between them. Oh boy, did she love her Momma! She was a remarkable sister and despite their passionate relationship (that entertained anyone in their presence), her sisters were some of the greatest loves of her life. Malorie was chaotic and silly; time spent with her was filled with endless laughter. You could always count on her to drop whatever she was doing and hop in the car with you to run errands, but a stop at Starbucks was a must. She knew no enemies and collected friends everywhere she went. If you didn't spend a night helping Malorie "organize her room", were you really even friends with her?

Countless kitties found bliss in Malorie's care, as she was a lifelong animal lover. Family beach trips, high school nights at Crystal Beach, and visits to Florida were some of the places she felt happiest. All the amazing, insane, beautiful, maddening, hilarious things we could write about Malorie Gelormini would fill a library. We are so grateful and blessed to have shared our lives with her. Our future reunions with her will be unimaginable celebrations.

Malorie is preceded in passing by her father, William Gelormini, her nana, Gloria Gelormini, her grandpa, William Gelormini, and her grandpa, James Feak. She is survived by her granny, Janelle Hartley, her mother, Pam Gelormini, her sisters Nicole Gelormini, Erica Gelormini, Andrea Gelormini and her brother-in-law, Michael Ibarra.
