Obituary

Magola Mazuera Montoya, of Cypress, Texas, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 5, 2018, at the age of 93 after a long and joyful life.

She was born on March 22, 1925 in Pereira, Colombia to parents Luis Carlos Mazuera and Trinidad Gallo. In 1948, she met the love of her life Antonio Montoya Osorio, who was a wonderful father and grandfather and was married until his passing in August 2nd, 1987.

She was a loving, and caring mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.  She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Antonio, two brothers and six sisters.

Her life will be cherished and remembered by her three children, Humberto and wife Gloria, Henry and wife Emma, and Miryam.

She is also survived by her seven grandchildren, Steven Montoya and wife Isabel, Dianna Freeman and husband Thomas, Astrid Kemper and husband William, Marisol Montoya, Leonard Montoya and wife Betty, Daiana Landheart and husband Cleveland, Vanessa Martinez and husband Walter; and her ten great-grandchildren, Camila Mosquera and Sebastian Landheart, Isabella and Maria Montoya, Keith, Ethan and Liam Kemper, Angel Montoya, Brianna Martinez, and Suri Freeman.

She is also survived by her sister, Marien Mazuera; two brothers, Oscar and Gonzalo Mazuera and by countless friends and relatives who loved and admired her.

Visitation and Rosary will take place at Klein Funeral Home-Cy-Fair at 9719 Wortham Blvd. on Monday, July 9th from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.  The Rosary will be at 6:30 p.m.

There will be a mass preceding the funeral at Prince of Peace Catholic Community on Tuesday, July 10th at 10:30 a.m.



After the Mass at Prince Of Peace, we will continue with the rites of Christian Burial at Klein Memorial Park: 9714 FM-2920, Tomball, TX  77375. Everyone is welcome to meet us there.  Then, after final prayers at the cemetery, the family invites everyone to join them for lunch at Restaurante Cielito Lindo in Tomball.
