Obituary

Maclin James Sanders

Maclin "Mack" James Sanders, a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend, passed away on December 10, 2024, at the tender age of 13.

Born on November 16, 2011, Mack brought joy and laughter into the lives of everyone he met. He was a bright, energetic young man with a passion for sports, particularly baseball and football. Mack's love for sports naturally led him to some amazing friendships.  He had a deep love for all his fellow Coogs. He loved spending time outdoors, especially fishing with his cousins, Luca and Kane. Mack enjoyed spending time with his friends and cousins at frequent sleepovers, always making plans for the next one.  He was always ready for an impromptu beach football game or coconut chopping with his friends during annual summer trips with family friends.

Known for his quick wit, kind heart, and infectious humor, Mack had charisma that drew people to him. Mack was a loving and supportive brother to Owen and Noah. The three of which shared the best of sibling rivalries whether it was Xbox, on the court, on the field, or in the pool.

Mack shared his father's love of LSU football and his mother's love for hosting, always wanting to be around those closest to him. If you wanted to be surrounded by love, great food, and colorful shouting at the TV, there was no better place to be than the Sanders' home on an LSU game day with Mack and his favorite dogs, Penelope and Ezra.

Mack loved nothing more than spending time with his grandparents Pat "Grandma" Sanders, Patty "Nana" Porche and Ray "Pops" Porche, who passed in 2018. Mack is preceded in death by his Grandfather, James Sanders, before Mack was born.

He is survived by his loving parents, Amanda and Joe Sanders; his brothers, Owen and Noah; his grandmothers, Patty Porche and Pat Sanders; his uncles, Jim Sanders (Tiffany), Bret Sanders (Kristine), and Shane Porche; grandparents by choice, Mike and Joyce LeJeune and Theresa Cazayoux; numerous cousins who he was very close to including Corey and Mandy LeJeune (Luca, Archie Ray), and Bret and Rachel Burgess (Sydnei, Kane, Mila, Ryleigh).

A memorial service to celebrate Mack's life will be held 5-8PM with a rosary and service starting at 6:40 PM on Sunday, December 15th at Klein Funeral Home (1400 W Main St, Tomball, TX 77375).

A Funeral Mass will be held Monday, December 16th 1PM at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, (7801 Bay Branch Dr., The Woodlands, TX 77382).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Creekside Park Junior High Athletics. CPJH Athletics
