Lynne Anne Kelly, 82, of Montgomery, TX died January 16. She was born in Chicago, IL August 10, 1939 to John and Anne Stefanak. She attended Cardinal Stritch High School in Chicago, IL and received a Bachelor's Degree in Business from Bradley University. She married her husband, Timothy Kelly in 1963 spending 38 years with him as a military wife and into retirement. Lynne and Tim had the opportunity to live in many places and travel to many more. They had three children, Kristine, Michelle and Tim Jr, raised them in the Catholic Faith and supported them fiercely.

Lynne was gifted with her hands, sewing and knitting…always for others. She loved the outdoors and she loved to laugh. She treasured her friend groups especially her Mahjong gatherings, her Wednesday night dinner friends, her De Colores groups and her long time book club.

Lynne worked for the Catholic Church in the Diocese of Arlington, VA, for Marymount College in Arlington, VA and for the Benedictine Sisters in Bristow, VA. In her retirement years. she volunteered at Christ the Good Shepherd Church in Spring, TX leading bible study and supporting The Gathering Place. She was an Associate with the Sisters of Notre Dame and for her covenant commitment she wrote, "I am blessed to be in relationship with God and I know that God's goodness is at the center of who I am and what I do."

She is preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Betty Freda, and her husband, Tim. She is survived by her sisters, Judy Pellettieri, and Sally Schmitz, her children, Kristine (James) Sullivan, Sr. Michelle Kelly, SND and Timothy Jr. (Kani), her grandchildren, Thomas Scheliga, Jr. (Abi), Emily Scheliga, Michael Kelly, Kaitlyn Kelly, and Megan Kelly, and her great-grandchild, Jackson Scheliga, along with many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at Klein Funeral Home, Tomball. The funeral mass will be at 11:00 AM CT on Wednesday, January 26 at Christ the Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Spring, TX with internment at Houston National Cemetery.
