Lynn Damerow Fortier, 64, of Houston, passed away October 25, 2022. She was born January 3, 1958, in Springfield, Illinois to Clara Damerow and the late Ronald Damerow.
Including her mother, she is survived by the love of her life for 42 years, David Fortier; sister, Barbara Fields; brother, Paul Damerow, sister-in-law, Elizabeth Krieger; aunt Mary Lou Diehl; and Uncle Jerry Damerow and wife Sherry.
Lynn was a jewel with many facets, she enjoyed her time as a manager with Tupperware attending shows and meetings across the county. She loved to show off her talent at the local craft shows with her ceramics collection. She was an avid reader, as a matter-of-fact David would take her to visit her mother and they both would just sit in the same room reading, spending quality time together. Just like her father, a Lutheran Minister, she was devout to her faith. Lynn loved to host parties and Christmas time was her favorite time of the year. She was a loving and kind person with a big smile who loved to greet people and meet new people. In the years of late, due to her stoke, she was not able to verbalize but you always could tell how grateful and happy she was because she was so physically expressive. She will be missed by all.
