Obituary

Lynda Spangenberger Fabian, age 66, passed away peacefully on June 8, 2025, surrounded by loved ones.

She was born on April 19, 1959, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Nancy and Robert Spangenberger. Lynda grew up in Spring Branch, a suburb of Houston, and spent much of her life in Spring, Texas, where she built a life centered around family, friends, and doing for others. Lynda was a devoted wife, mother, "Mimi", and friend. She married Stuart Fabian on Valentine's Day, 1992, and together they shared 33 years of love and laughter. Lynda was FUN, and she loved nothing more than to spend time with friends and family, celebrating their achievements large and small. Her biggest joy was to do for others, whether that be extravagant Christmases, cooking for the masses, or helping provide for anyone in need.

Lynda was active at the VFW, Post #8905. She could often be found organizing fundraisers, potlucks, BBQ Cookoffs and crawfish boils there. She would help absolutely anyone in need, at any time. Lynda is survived by Stuart Fabian, her children, Chris Capers (Morgan) and Kim LeRoy (Jerry), Tracie Jost (Patrick), Butch Fabian (Leslie), Ericka Sanchez (Carlos), KC Fabian, Missy Oklat (John) and Derek, her grandchildren, Alexis, Alex, Chloe, Audrey, Adrianne, Alyssa, Ryan, Hayley, Kenneth, Faith, Lane, Knox, Taylor and great-grandchildren Noah and Freya. She was preceded in death by her brother, mother and father. A Celebration of Life will be held on June 29, 2025 at 2:00 pm at the Northhampton Community Center, 6012 Root Rd., Spring, Texas, and all are welcome.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to her dear friends who stood by Lynda during her illness, offering unwavering care, comfort, and companionship in her final days. Your love and support not only sustained her, but also brought strength and solace to our family. We are deeply thankful for your kindness and presence. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered for her unwavering strength, quick wit, and generous spirit. Go Cowboys!
