Lydia Burnette Scrimpshire was born in Cameron, Texas on November 7, 1939, and passed away in Cleveland, Texas on January 10, 2020.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Nellie Burnette; her sister, Eudora Burnette Masuccio; and brother, Bob Burnette, Jr.

Lydia is survived by her daughter, Lanell Rushing and husband Steven; grandchildren, Celieste Parker, Christopher Parker, Brad Allen, Deserie Rushing, and Connor Rushing; and sister, Patricia Diebel.

Lydia's family will receive friends and loved ones at a visitation from 5-8pm on Monday, January 13,2020 at Klein Funeral Home, 9719 Wortham Blvd., Houston, TX 77065.  She will be laid to rest at 12pm on Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at Oakhill Cemetery in Cameron, Texas.
