Luis was born and raised in Aguascalientes, Mexico on November 4th, 1970.  The second of five, Luis grew up in a beautiful, happy Family.

A few years later Luis went off to college and graduated from the Monterrey Tec where he earned a BS in Marketing. Later on, while completing his MBA in Finance & Operations Management at the University of Rochester, he met and dated Vanessa Esparza, the love of his life, who he would later marry on December 13th, 1997.

Luis and Vanessa formed a beautiful marriage and devoted themselves to their family project for 23 years. They raised five wonderful children: Juliana, Luis Ernesto, Juan Pablo, Leonardo and Mariana. For Luis, his family life was his priority and he cherished time with family and friends as a treasure. Such time was spent by going on adventures, traveling, enjoying the outdoors, watching sports games, accompanying his children to their different activities such as choir, art competitions, non-profit organizations, football, swim meets and soccer games.

Luis successfully worked in partnership with Vanessa as a real estate manager and broker in The Woodlands, Texas. Luis left a mark on our community by bringing God into his professional activities.

As a devout Catholic, he committed his life to Christ, while instilling in his children a true Love and passion for Life and the search for the Good, the Beautiful and the True. Luis prayed with his family morning prayers and the rosary almost every night. During his last years, he discovered and loved the Ordinariate community by attending the Church of the Presentation of the Lord in Montgomery, Texas. He was a loving husband and father who led his family to Faith.

As a friend, Luis will always be remembered for his unparalleled generosity and willingness to help, his heart was an open-house. As professional as he was, he was also a man that brought tremendous joy in conversation and fellowship.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Chepita who passed away just last December.

He is survived by his father, Jesus Juan Esparza Gonzales, his wife Vanessa, his daughters Juliana and Mariana and sons Luis Ernesto, Juan Pablo and Leonardo; and his siblings: Jesus, Mario, Miguel, Veronica, as well as his numerous nieces and nephews who stood by his side until the very last day.

Luis lived an exemplary life as a son, brother, husband, father, friend and professional. He loved where he lived, admired beauty and peace and all things good. He will be greatly missed but left us with a beautiful testimony of a life well lived in the image of Jesus Christ. His virtues in this life will keep his memory alive and will be the legacy to his beloved family and community.

On Wednesday, October 2oth, 2021, Luis Alberto Esparza of The Woodlands, Texas was called by Christ to Eternal Rest.

May his soul and the souls of all the Faithfully departed rest in peace.
