Lucy Nicole Schaefer passed away January 30, 2021 at the age of 20.  Lucy was born June 21, 2000 in Perrysburg, Ohio.  Lucy grew up playing sports and was fierce competitor in travel volleyball, travel softball, and basketball.  She attended Tomball High School where she played varsity volleyball and received a scholarship to play for Blinn College.  Lucy was attending Lone Star College studying for a degree in Safety Management.

Lucy always put her family first.  She had a gift for making sure everyone knew how much she loved them and found ways to make them feel special every day.  Lucy lived life to the fullest and always encouraged everyone to follow their dreams and try new things.  She was strong, determined and driven in everything she did.  Lucy treated every person fairly, was never afraid to speak her mind, stand up for what she believed in and for the people that she loved.

Some of her favorite things were to watch the sunset, travel, go to concerts, listen to live music especially watching her brother play and was Danny DeVito's biggest fan.

Lucy is proceeded in death by Patricia and Kenneth Mummert.  She is survived by her parents Amy and Jeff Croston, John and Madeline Schaefer, brothers Johnny, Davis, Maxwell Schaefer, sisters CJ and Holly Croston, grandparents Barbara and Jim Croston, Jo and Jack Schaefer, aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends.

Visitation is scheduled for Friday, February 5 ^th from 1-2pm followed by a Celebration of Life at 2pm at Klein Funeral Home at 1400 West Main Tomball, Texas 77375.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to sponsor volleyball scholarships in Lucy's honor.  https://www.mealtrain.com/trains/z0en0e
