Lucy Newby Goldstone passed away February 3, 2018, from complications with pneumonia. She was born March 24, 1937, to Oke and Vivian Newby in Houston, Texas. After graduating from high school, she attended the University of Texas in Austin. On December 1st, 1956, she married Frank Peter Goldstone at St. Mark's Episcopal Church. Lucy was a devoted mother to her children, Melanie, Frank, and Paul and leaves behind many loving nieces, nephews and grandchildren. She loved her work with the Texas A&M Mothers Club and was an active member of St. Dunstan's Episcopal Church.
