L ucy was a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she died on February 23, 2023, at the age of 88.  She grew up in Puerto Rico and lived with her family. She loved life and lived it to the fullest. Lucy came to the United States when she was in her late teens. She moved to New York then shortly after that moved to Antioch, California where she lived with her aunt. During this period, she met the love of her life, Francisco Garcia, (affectionately known as Pancho). They met at a church dance, fell in love, and married shortly thereafter. They were together for over 66 years. Pancho and Lucy enjoyed dining, dancing, and cruising around the world, where they met many people who became lifelong friends. She spent her last 24 years in Texas where she loved to spend time with family.

Lucy decided to further her education by attending classes at Ohlone College, and then at California State University East Bay. She encouraged her family to follow their dreams and hearts. She loved her grandchildren and adored her great-grandchildren.

Lucy is survived by her siblings, Ana J, Myrna, Teresa, Luz Noemi, Julio, Migdalia, Edwin, and Clarizol; her son, Mark; her daughters, Linda, Leticia, and Lisa; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Friends are invited to visit with the family between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Friday, March 10, at Klein Funeral Home - Magnolia/The Woodlands, 14711 FM 1488, Magnolia, with a prayer service to begin at 6:30 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, March 11, at Valley Rise Church, 22932 Kuykendahl Road, Spring, TX 77389. Interment will follow at Klein Memorial Park, FM 1488, Magnolia.
