Lucille Clara Dornak

Lucille Clara Dornak, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and so much more to others, was welcome home to the Lord on Tuesday, February 9, 2021. She was 78 years old at the time of her passing. A loyal servant of the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Lucille is survived by her two children, Alan (wife Kristi) Dornak and Donna (husband Toby) Dornak-Smith and grandchildren, Allan Peet III, Kierstin Dornak and Jordan Wise, along with great-grandson Beckham Wise and multiple nieces and nephews.

Lucille was born to Theodore and Clara Meier on November 25, 1942. Raised in Gonzalez County, Texas, she would grow up on the family farm, graduating from Gonzalez High School. Soon after, she would meet her true love, Ervin, and the two would be married on June 22, 1963.

They remained together until Ervin's passing on January11, 2020.

For many years, Lucille would work as a seamstress for her community, lending a helping hand in her best way possible. A proud member of Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church, she also participated in The Ladies Auxiliary for several years.

The love Lucille carried in her heart was as strong as her love for Christ. She treated others with kindness while greeting everyone with a warm smile. She loved to play spades and dominoes and shop with her friends, Agnes Gerlich and Ruth Schroeder. Lucille loved cooking and traveling to the hill country with Ervin. She wasn't much of a swimmer, but she loved to vacation and camp at the Guadalupe River.

Lucille will join her father, Theodore, mother, Clara, brother, Elo and sisters Irene, Esther, Cleo and Arminta in the eternal afterlife in the Kingdom of Heaven.

Visitation will take place Monday, February 22, from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Klein Funeral Home, CyFair-Northwest. A rosary vigil will take place following the wake at 7:00 p.m. All those are welcomed to join.

A funeral service, including mass, will take place on Tuesday, February 23, at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. with burial following at Klein Magnolia Cemetery.
