Lucille M. Anderson passed away with her family by her side on May 1, 2021 in Industry, Texas.  She was born in Cypress, Texas on February 13, 1926 as one of eight children to Charles and Edna McCracken.

Lucille was a devoted wife to her husband Raymond L. Anderson, mother, grandmother to 5 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.  After graduating from Cy-Fair High School in 1943, she went to work for Hughes Tools in Houston as a welder.  Working side by side, her and Raymond owned and operated the renowned Anderson's Meat Processing for many years at their home place in Cypress.  After retiring from the meat processing business, Lucille went on to become a Special Needs school bus driver for Cy-Fair ISD.  She adored her students and was lovingly known as "Ms Cille".  Lucille was an active member in the VFW Post 8905 Ladies Auxiliary in Cypress supporting Raymond during his tenure as a member and Post Commander. She enjoyed bowling, playing Bingo, participating in the Anderson Woods Bunco Club and loved her bus trips with her gambling friends to Coushatta Casino in Kinder, Louisiana.  But most of all, she loved fishing, especially with PaPaw, Ray, Devin and Mike.  She didn't care if it was a small lake, fishing off the bank catching perch or in a boat out in the back lakes, bays or the big waters of the Gulf trying for the big ones down in Port O'Connor, Texas.

Lucille is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond L. Anderson; her parents, Charles and Edna McCracken; and infant daughter.  She is survived by her sister, Edith Smith; her children, Lynda Schiel and husband Richard, and Raymond L. Anderson, Jr. and wife Laurie; grandchildren Devin O. Williams and wife Karrie, Danielle Sankey and husband Thomas, Tracie Melton and husband Matt, Eric Anderson, and Ian Anderson and fiancé Ivy Titmus; great-grandchildren, Dustin Williams and wife Bobbie, Austin Sankey and Allie Rae Melton, and great-great grandchildren Emersyn and Graylen Williams and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Lucille's family would like to extend special thanks to Dr. Bart Klaus, Chelsea, Melissa, Shannon, Megan and Dora with Amedisys Hospice Care. Thank you also to Cherice Moore and Amelia Martell for the loving friendship and care.

Pallbearers are Eric Anderson, Ian Anderson, Dustin Williams, Thomas Sankey, Matt Melton and Garrett Cheatham.  Honorary pallbearers are Mike Haltom, Calvin Baldau and Mike Herzog

A visitation will be held at 9:00 a.m. before services at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 12 ^th , 2021 at Klein Funeral Home, 1400 W. Main, Tomball, Tx 77375, to be immediately followed by procession and committal service at Perry Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest along side her husband Raymond.
