Lucile Lillie Lorenz

Lucile L. Lorenz went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 18, 2026, at the age of 93.  Lucile was born on 9/19/32 in Ledbetter, Tx.  She was the daughter of Alfred and Nora Pietsch.  After graduating from Carmine High School in 1950, Lucile went to work at a Bookstore in Austin. She moved back to Ledbetter where she married her husband of 52 years Ewald Lorenz.  She was a devoted and loving mother to Cary, David, Darryl and Gerald Lorenz.  She will be remembered for her love of gardening, canning vegetables, homemade cinnamon rolls and bread.  She enjoyed taking care of the cows, deer and farm animals.  She was a proud grandma and great grandmother to her 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She is survived by her sons Cary (Pam) Lorenz, David (Josephine) Lorenz, Darryl Lorenz, and Gerald Lorenz. Along with her grandchildren James Lorenz and April Stokely (Jaxon, Landon, Cooper Lorenz); Krystal (Josh) Durham (Kinsley and Natalee Durham); Austin (Arleah) Lorenz; Abigail (Brayden) Doud (Aurora Treen). Lucile is also survived by her sister-in-laws, Burneis Richter and Edna Houston. She was preceded in death by Ewald Lorenz, Alfred and Nora Pietsch, Leroy Pietsch and Betty Schautschick.

Visitation will be from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at Klein Funeral Home 1400 W Main St. Tomball Tx. 77375. Visitation will take place in the Chapel. Funeral services to follow in Chapel at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow at Klein Memorial Park, Pinehurst, Texas for immediate family members.
