Obituary

Loyce Yvonne Brock Bussell was born April 21, 1935 to Farrell and William Kennard Brock Sr. in the Heights in Houston, Texas. She went to be with the lord on October 4, 2017. Loyce's family meant everything to her. She lived life to the fullest enjoying her family, friends and everyone she came in contact with. She loved her yard and always kept it perfect and beautiful for all of us to enjoy. She loved bowling and fishing and golf. She enjoyed watching her Astros and Texan's and always was hoping for a victory. Loyce started with our company when she married Tommy in 1953. At first part time was all that was necessary. As the company grew she was the inside person for Bussell & Sons, doing all accounting, billing, federal p/r reports and receptionist. She served as President of the women's division of the  Texas Water Well Association, she was one of the founders of that organization in 1968. She also served as President of the National Water Well Association women's division in 1975-1976. She was a member of the Tomball Business and Professional Women's Association. Loyce designed the company logo "B" and incorporated that logo (registered by The State of Texas) into all the company's printed forms and stationary as well as all promotional items. Because of her achievements in this area, the company won the National Water Well Association Golden Image Award in 1984. Loyce was also a member of the Reagan Alumni Association and was part of the scholarship committee until 2 years ago.  Everyone who knew Loy loved her. She was a beautiful, thoughtful loving person that we will all miss greatly.

Preceded in death by her son Carl Kennard Bussell, her brother J.C. Brock and her parents. She is survived by her loving husband Tommy C. Bussell, her son and daughter in law Craig & Mandy Bussell, her son Troy Bussell, her sister & husband Ailene& Bill Hartman, her brother & wife Ken & Rita Brock.
