Louise Daily, 97, of Tomball, TX, died peacefully February 26, 2022, at the  Tomball Regional Hospital.

Born in Saint David, IL, May 28, 1924, she was the daughter of Winnie and Joseph Simac.

Louise lived in Butler, PA most of her adult life until moving to Tomball, TX to live with her son and daughter-in-law in 2019.

In Butler, PA, Louise was a member of the Butler Hospital Women's Auxiliary and volunteered at the Cherry Tree Gift Shop.  She was also a volunteer for Meals on Wheels.  Louise loved going to Mass and she was a long-time member of St. Paul's Catholic Church in Butler, PA.

Louise was an avid reader all her life. She enjoyed working in her beautiful backyard flower garden and was a wonderful cook.  And of course, she loved being "Mimi" and "Gigi" to all her treasured grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry E. Daily, and a daughter, Paulette Zaliponi.

She is survived by her daughter, Laura A. Daily, of Sidney, NE, a son, George Patrick Daily, a daughter-in-law, Patricia Daily, of Tomball, TX, a son-in-law, Rodney Zaliponi, of Butler, PA, eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

A private ceremony will be held at a later date in Butler, PA.
