It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Louise Cook, who left this world peacefully on December 16, 2024. Born with a heart full of love and a spirit full of adventure, she blessed the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Granny was a devoted mother to Sylvia Hildreth, Ronald James "Jim" Cook, DDS, and Michael Cook, and her love extended boundlessly to her 11 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren. She was also cherished by countless nieces and nephews, who will forever hold her memory close. Preceding her in death was her beloved husband, Walter Cook, with whom she shared a lifetime of love and partnership.

Known for her selfless nature, Granny dedicated much of her life to serving others. She was an active volunteer at the local food pantry, her church, the community center, and the Lawrence Street Nursing Home. Her compassion was boundless, and her actions always reflected her belief in putting others before herself.

Granny was a true "Cook" in every sense of the word, not just by name but through her incredible culinary talents. Her kitchen was a place where memories were made, laughter was shared, and plates were always full of love.

A spirited adventurer, Granny loved exploring new places and spending time with her family, who were the center of her universe. She was also the Astros' number one fan, cheering them on through victories and defeats with loyalty.

Granny leaves behind a legacy of kindness, resilience, and a life well-lived. While she will be deeply missed, her spirit will continue to inspire her family and friends for generations to come.

Services to honor her life will be held on 12/22/2024 at Klein Funeral Home in Tomball, TX. We ask that those attending wear their Astros gear or orange and blue. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to No Kid Hungry @ www.nokidhungry.org , in her memory.
