Louis Oscar Napier entered eternal rest on January 14 ^th , 2022.  Louis was born Salina, KS on December 10 ^th , 1946.  The youngest of three siblings, Louis graduated high school in 1963 at the age of seventeen and was drafted into the US Army that same year.  During his time in the Army, he served in South Korea, Germany and at Fort Bliss, TX.  While stationed in Fort Bliss Lou met his lifelong partner and friend, Louisa.  Father of two sons, Christopher and James, Lou worked for Western Electric starting in Wichita, KS and eventually to transferred to the Houston market, where he spent most of his career and traveling to various destinations throughout the country.  After a successful thirty-year career in the telecommunications industry, Lou retired from Lucent in 1999.

Respected and love by peers, neighbors, friends, and family, he will be dearly missed by all.

Louis is survived by wife of 55 years, Louisa B. Napier, eldest son, Christopher, youngest son, James and wife Su Sun and two grandchildren, Cameron, and Jiyu.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Wounded Warriors Foundation.
