Obituary

Louis Lynn LeBouef, 69, of Tomball, Texas was called home to be with the Lord on January 25, 2022.

Lynn is survived by his son Paul LeBouef (Angie), daughter Joni Holt (Tim), son Lance LeBouef (Carly), his two step daughters Kristin Poole (Brian) and Kelly McWhorter (Jeffrey) as well as 15 loving grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his wife Kathy LeBouef, parents Eli and Evelyn LeBouef, brother Ellis LeBouef, and sister-in-law Janila LeBouef.

Lynn was born on August 15, 1952 in Lake Charles, Louisiana, and moved to the Tomball area in 1978.  Lynn worked for Tomball Regional Medical Center for almost 34 years, starting as Director of Cardiopulmonary Services.  In 1996, he was named EVP / Assistant Administrator before becoming COO in 2001.  Lynn was promoted to CEO in 2005 and served in that role until the purchase of the hospital by Community Health Systems in 2011.  Lynn then transitioned to the role of Legislative and Regulatory Liaison.  In 2013, he left Community Health Systems and went to work for Tomball Regional Health Foundation (TRHF) where he was CEO until his passing.

As a distinguished leader of the Tomball community, Lynn was known by so many as an honorable and sincere gentleman who worked tirelessly to bring exceptional healthcare to the area.  Lynn was a loving father, husband, grandfather, and friend to everyone. As a dedicated family man, he enjoyed traveling and spending time with his loved ones most of all.  He kept us smiling with his humor and made any event special.  He attended Stone Bridge Church, and as a devoted child of God, he loved the Lord and is rejoicing in Heaven now.
