Louis Dan Edwards, lovingly known as "Pete," passed away peacefully at the age of 91 on June 24, 2025, in Tomball, Texas. Born on July 8, 1933, Pete was a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather whose gentle spirit and kind heart left a lasting imprint on everyone who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his father, Louis C. Edwards, his mother, Mary Josephine Kerr, and stepmother Judy Edwards. Pete now rests in eternal peace, reunited with those who went before him.

He leaves behind his beloved wife, Maryann Edwards, who was his steadfast partner and best friend through life's journey. Pete was a proud and devoted father to his two daughters, Collynne Scates and Kerry Cormier Edwards. His love extended to his five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, each of whom brought him immense joy and pride.

A memorial service honoring Pete's life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at Klein Funeral Home – Tomball, 1400 W. Main, Tomball, TX 77375. He will be laid to rest at 11:30 a.m. the same day at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr., Houston, TX 77038. Services will be ministered by Chaplain Mark.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to The Breast Cancer Foundation, a cause close to their hearts.

Pete's legacy of love, kindness, and quiet strength will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
