Louie Barton Canon, Sr.'s Obituary
Louie Barton Canon, Sr., born November 4, 1921, in Grubbs, AR, went home to be with the Lord on October 25, 2016, in Spring, TX. He was preceded in death by a son, Terry Ross Canon, and his beloved wife of nearly 70 years, Ruth, whom he married on November 17, 1946. She passed away on October 5, 2016.
He is survived by his son, Louie Barton "Bart" Canon, Jr. and wife Susan; grandchildren, Joseph Ross (Miranda) Canon, Allison (Christopher) Canon Pailes, Erin (Jeffrey) Canon Will, Lauren Elise Canon, Matthew Edward (Jessica) Canon, and Kristen Elizabeth Canon; great-grandchildren, Annelisa Grace Pailes, Alayna Joy Pailes, Cambree Leigh Canon, Avaree Aniston Canon, and Aubri Lynn Canon; a brother, Jerrell Dean (Jane) Canon; and a sister-in-law, Esther Gober.
Friends are invited to visit with the family from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Friday, October 28, at Klein Funeral Home - Champions, 16131 Champion Forest Drive, Spring, TX 77379.
A committal service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, October 31, in the Kosciusko City Cemetery in Kosciusko, MS.
He is survived by his son, Louie Barton "Bart" Canon, Jr. and wife Susan; grandchildren, Joseph Ross (Miranda) Canon, Allison (Christopher) Canon Pailes, Erin (Jeffrey) Canon Will, Lauren Elise Canon, Matthew Edward (Jessica) Canon, and Kristen Elizabeth Canon; great-grandchildren, Annelisa Grace Pailes, Alayna Joy Pailes, Cambree Leigh Canon, Avaree Aniston Canon, and Aubri Lynn Canon; a brother, Jerrell Dean (Jane) Canon; and a sister-in-law, Esther Gober.
