Lorraine Marie Turner was born March 19, 1948, in Van Buren, Maine to the late Yvonne (Picard) and Norman Cantin, and died Saturday, December 10, 2022 in Houston, Texas.

Growing up in Lewiston Maine, she graduated from Lewiston High School in 1966 and earned her Nursing degree at St Mary's General Hospital School of Nursing becoming an LVN.

Lori moved to Austin Texas in 1976 where she met her future husband, Curtis Raymond Turner.  Lori and Curtis was married December 31, 1977 in Austin, Texas and were happily married nearly 45 years.

Lori and her husband Curtis moved to Rosenberg Texas in 1978 for work.   Lori worked at the Richmond State School as a physical therapist for children that were profoundly disabled.

About 1980, Lori and her husband relocated to the northwest Houston area and where she began working as a nurse in a local clinic.    Lori began working as an office nurse for Dr. Pai in 1981 until her retirement in 2011.

After her retirement, Lori enjoyed traveling around the US and cruising in Alaska and the Caribbean.   She especially loved her trips to Hawaii and lounging on the lanai; and her trips home to Maine to spend time with family.

Lori became interested in jewelry making and loved making various pieces for family and friends.  She loved to go shopping with friends and collecting knickknacks.

Besides her husband and family, Lori's greatest love was for her 3 dachshunds - Cricket, Tinkerbell, and Penny.

Survivors include husband, Curtis Turner; sister Jean Potvin and husband Paul; brother, David Cantin and wife Elizabeth; brother, Bruce Cantin and wife Annie; and brother Alan Cantin and wife Patty; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Yvonne and Normal Cantin.

Friends are invited to visit with the family beginning at 5 pm until 7 pm on Thursday, December 15, 2022 at Klein Funeral Home – 1400 West Main, Tomball, Texas.   A funeral service celebrating Lori's life will begin at 2 pm on Friday December 16, 2022 at the Klein Funeral Home in Tomball.   Interment will be at Liberty Hill Cemetery in Liberty Hill, Texas on Saturday, December 17, 2022
