Loretta Marie Deutsch Sheppard was born March 6th, 1932 in West Chicago, Illinois. The youngest of 4 children of George and Nettie Deutsch. After a 5 year kick butt battle with cancer on February 11th 2020 at the age of 87 she joined her parents and her 3 brothers Charles, Leo & Harrold in eternal rest. She is survived by her husband of 63 years (Lloyd and Loretta met on a blind date). Their children James Sheppard & wife Cindy; their daughter Donna Sheppard& husband Dan Bobb; Ron Sheppard and wife Leah; Earl Sheppard and wife Leslie; their youngest daughter Linda Sheppard & husband Michael Adams.

Grandchildren Anita Miller, Bridget Velasquez, Sara Sheppard, Tim Sheppard, Rylie Sheppard, Andrea Bobb, Karen Spitz & Virginia Land. Great grandchildren Alex Miller, Atizle Jones, Zane Ramos, Aizlyn Shelton, Daliah & Zev Spitz. She was known as Aunt "Dretta" to her many nieces & nephews. She was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother & relentless Garage saler, prankster and truly never met a stranger. The enormous loss felt by all who knew her is filled by the even greater joy of having known her.

Services will be held at 10 am on February 19, 2020, at Klein Funeral Home in Tomball, Tx. Internment will be in the Houston National Cemetery at 12:30 pm.
