Lonny Dale Borne, 71, of Deer Park, Texas, passed from this life on January 12th, 2026, in Houston, TX. He was born on June 8th, 1954, to Malcolm and Patricia Borne in Port Arthur, Texas.

Lonny Borne was a devoted Husband, Father, and PawPaw to his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He loved spending as much time with his family and friends as possible. Whether it was his weekly dinners at Brew Wings with his friends or the monthly Poker game with his son and more friends, he was always equally as excited for the visit as the week or month before. Through Retirement he enjoyed his nightly walks with his wife and beloved dog Sophie as well as jumping in the car for a drive through the country on a beautiful day. During his Career, most of his life was spent behind the wheel driving for numerous courier services delivering freight. Lonny knew his way around Houston, that's for sure.  He loved getting together with his Sons to watch Boxing, UFC, and/or Football, really any excuse to spend time with them, and he never turned down a day to get together and eat some crawfish and tell stories. His passing will leave a huge hole in our hearts, and we will miss him dearly.

Those left to cherish his memories are: His wife Rebecca Borne of Deer Park, TX his son Chad Borne and wife Kelly of Conroe, TX, stepdaughters Kalynda Vincent of Houston, TX and Tabitha Ferrell and husband Samuel of Cleveland, TX. Stepbrothers Danny Hodges and wife Liz, and Randy Hodges and wife Robin. Grandchildren Kaitlin Borne, Kristina Borne, Bailey Perella and husband Cody, Lindsey Hendrickson and husband Tyler, Samuel Jr. Ferrell, Isayah Ferrell, and Samiyah Ferrell. Great-Grandchildren Krew Miller and Forrest Jones.


He was preceded in death by his parents Malcolm Borne, Patricia Borne Hodges, and stepfather J.W. Hodges, his sisters Crystal Parmer, and Darlene McCall, stepsister Susan Alston, and Son Brian Borne.
