Lola Beatrice Thompson Gray Sibley died peacefully on May 8, 2024, surrounded
by her daughter and grandsons, in her Tomball, Texas home.
Lola was born on November 18, 1926, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. She was preceded
in death by her mother, Sylvia Clapp Thompson, her father, John Robert Thompson, two brothers, four sisters, and her son-in-law, Larry Freeman.
At the age of 17, she married Alfred C. Gray. They had been married 53 years when he died in 1996. At the age of 72, she married Thomas Sibley, who died in 2004.
Lola is survived by her only child, Karen Gray Bain Freeman, as well as by her grandsons, Scott O'Hara (Bichloan), David Bain (Adriana) and Jonathan Bain (Toni); her great-grandchildren, Ivy, Benjamin, Eliana, Cara, Noa and Laci; her son-in-law, James Bain; and the beloved families of Sue Ellen and John Browning and Dawn and Brian Smith.
Lola loved with her whole heart and thoroughly enjoyed having a fun time. She was a beautiful, wonderfully generous and talented lady who expected the very best
from herself and inspired the same in others. Lola will forever be loved and missed.
