In loving memory of Lloyd Hayden Sherbert (1941-2024)

Our hearts break to announce the passing of Lloyd Hayden Sherbert, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle, brother, and friend. Lloyd left this world on January 18, 2024, in the comfort of his home in Humble, Texas at the age of 82. He was born at is grandfather's home in Trigg County, Kentucky. He was the eldest child of Clarence Thomas and Tessie Sherbert. He earned his stationary engineering license with which he secured employment at food manufacturing plants, hospitals, and energy plants. He married Linda Kay McBride on March 21, 1963. In his devotion to her he converted to Catholicism and found much comfort in the church. Together, Lloyd and Linda had two children Lari Ordner and Lance Sherbert. Throughout their marriage Lloyd proved to be a fierce protector, provider, and completely steadfast to his family. They built a wonderful life together and spent all their spare time with family and friends. Some activities they enjoyed were camping, family gatherings, and visiting new places.

Lloyd is survived by his wife of 60 years, Linda Sherbert, children, Lari & Ron Ordner, Lance & Kelly Sherbert, grandchildren, Ryan & Ashley Perio, Chelsea & Ryan Casey, Kayla & Weston Adams, Delaney Perio, and Hayden Ordner. He is also survived by great grandchildren, Rowan Adams, Jack & Liam Casey, and Kira Starling, and many nieces and nephews.

Lloyd is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Thomas (CT) and Tessie Sherbert and his sister, Barbara June Sherbert Clayton.

Visitation will be at Klein Funeral Home in Tomball on Monday, January 22 from 5-8. Funeral services will be Tuesday at St. James Catholic Church 22800 Aldine Westfield Rd. Spring, TX 77373, Tuesday, January 23, at 10:00.
