Lisa Anne (Polasek) Yeager, 64, of Klein, Texas passed away on December 31, 2024 following a hard-fought battle with cancer. She was born March 22, 1960 in Houston, Texas to Janette Divin Polasek and William Polasek.

Lisa grew up in Houston, Texas and graduated from Waltrip High School. She began her career with Houston Lighting & Power (now Centerpoint Energy) which spanned 24 years. She then shifted to the early childhood education field, one she ultimately found to be her passion. After working for Klein ISD, she dedicated 14 years to Kinsmen Lutheran Children's Academy, first as a teacher and then Preschool Director. Her most recent position held was for Cy-Fair ISD as an early learning teacher. She truly loved working with children and made a positive and lasting impact on many little lives and their families over the years.

Though dedicated to her career, her greatest priorities were her faith and her family. She was a proud and devout Catholic and longtime member of St. Ignatius of Loyola Catholic Church. Whether it was watering plants in the sanctuary, making sandwiches for those in need or ironing altar linens, she spent many years serving her parish and others.

As an only child, she was very close with her mother, Janette, and spent time with and supported her as often as she could. She and her husband, Jimmy, were married for over 45 years and he was by her side until the very end. They had two children, Jennifer and Justin, who she loved dearly and selflessly. When they had their own children, her greatest role became that of "Gee Gee". She absolutely adored her five grandchildren and they brought her such happiness. They were truly her pride and joy and her love for them remains eternal.

She also loved baseball (especially watching her son and grandson play), the beach, tending to her plants and flowers, her dogs Sunny and Lucy, and her cockatiel PJ, and she was very happy to have served the last few years as a committee member for the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo.

Lisa was a beloved daughter, wife, mother, and grandmother and will be forever missed by all who loved her. Our hearts are broken, but we know she is now free from suffering and at peace with the Lord.

Lisa is survived by her mother, Janette Polasek; husband, Jimmy Yeager; daughter, Jennifer White and husband Doug; son, Justin Yeager and wife Kendall; grandchildren Jordan Anne White, Farris Yeager, William White, Maven Yeager and Vale Yeager and many extended family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, William Polasek.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 9, 2025, from 5:00-8:00p.m. with a Rosary to be held at 7:00 p.m. at Klein Funeral Home - Champions, 16131 Champion Forest Dr, Spring, TX, 77379.

Funeral Mass will be held Friday, January 10, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Ignatius of Loyola Catholic Church, 7810 Cypresswood Dr, Spring, TX, 77379.

A burial service will follow at Klein Memorial Park - Spring-Klein, 9714 FM 2920, Tomball TX 77375. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Yeager, Justin Yeager, Doug White, Ellis Holt, Sam Burkett, and Danny Healy.
