On Thursday, December 9, 2021, Linda Wilkinson breathed her last on this earth and was welcomed Home to eternity by her Savior, Jesus Christ.

Linda is survived by her daughter, Shawn (Joey) Galloway of Houston, TX, granddaughters Hannah Leighanne and Jenna Kate Galloway of Houston, TX, sisters, Maxine (Tommy) Moore of Shreveport, LA, Patricia (Creston) Woodson of Houston, TX, Betty (Scott) Lonis of Lubbock, TX, Brenda (Wayne) Perry of Sugarland, TX and Vivian McMillin of Orange, TX.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Wayne Wilkinson Sr., son, Jimmy Wayne Wilkinson Jr., daughter, Leigh Anne Wilkinson, parents, Curtis and Annie Henderson, and siblings Herbert Henderson, Robert Henderson, Erma Jean Carnahan and Elvis Ray Henderson.

Linda was born on December 7, 1944.  She married her husband Jimmy on July 4, 1965, and together they had 3 children.  Linda was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.  She loved her family and took care of them with all of her might until the very end.  She gave selflessly of herself and everything she had to those that she loved.  Linda worked for many years in the shipping industry and retired from Murphy Shipping & Commercial Services in August of 2018.

Though her family and friends will miss her greatly, we are thankful we do "not grieve as others do who have no hope." 1 Thessalonians 4:13  We are grateful that at a young age Linda accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior and that because of that we know that "precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints." Psalm 116:15 We will also hold fast to our faith and continue to praise Him for "From the rising of the sun to its setting, the name of the Lord is to be praised!"
