Linda Marie White of The Woodlands, Texas passed away on Friday, June 2nd, at her home after a 14-month battle with pancreatic cancer. Linda fought the cancer with dignity and grace. Her beautiful heart and spirit and her love and caring for others shone through to the end.
Linda was born December 9, 1948 in San Antonio, Texas to Ollie Marie and Jay Ray Haese. She spent her high school years in Lake Charles, Louisiana, graduated from LaGrange High School and attended McNeese State University. Linda worked for Gulf Oil Company rising to Executive Assistant and at Battle Mountain Gold Company where she was the Executive Assistant to the Chairman and CEO.

In their travels, Linda and Claude made numerous trips to England, The Netherlands, Belgium, France, Germany, Spain and Italy. After finding out that Italy was very Celiac friendly, it became her favorite and she particularly loved the Lakes, Tuscany, and the Amalfi coast. On their last trip Linda and Claude hiked the "Sentiero degli dei" or the Pathway of the Gods from Ravello to Positano. Linda also enjoyed maintaining a beautiful home and landscape; golf with the Ladies' Golf Association at Willow Creek Golf Club and husband, Claude; her friends in the neighborhood; the Herald Oaks Bunco group; and doting on her beautiful grandchildren. Her favorite holiday was Christmas and she created special traditions of Christmas with the grandchildren that will live on in them.
Linda was preceded in death by her mother, Ollie Marie Haese, and is survived by her father, Jay Ray Haese of Montgomery, Texas; her husband of 30 years, William Claude White of the Woodlands, Texas; her daughter, Deborah M. Klement and her husband Philip, grandchildren Zachary Andrew, Olivia Grace, Sophia Marie and Adam Michael Klement, all of Flower Mound, Texas; brothers Bobby Haese and wife Jackie of Montgomery, Texas, Barry Haese and wife Laura of Houston, and Calvin Haese of Houston. With Linda, family was everything and she was a devoted and loving daughter, mother, wife, grandmother, sister, aunt, and cousin.
