Linda Joan Waldrop 75 of Houston passed away February 13, 2024.  She was born November 4, 1948, in Akron, Ohio to the late John Glen and Joan Wanda Lopeman.  Linda graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Houston on December 18, 1986 with a Bachelor's in Education, Major in Elementary Education.  Linda also earned her Master's Degree in Education and Social Studies from the University of Houston on May 16, 1992.  She taught, history, social studies, and reading for over 20 years for the Cy Fair Independent School District.

Linda is survived by her husband Ronald Joseph Waldrop, Sr.; sons, Ronald Joseph Waldrop Jr. and wife Samantha Sinclair, and John Robert Waldrop and wife Lisa Michelle; grandchildren, Alexa Lauren Waldrop, Aidan Joseph Waldrop, Christian Alexander Waldrop, Reagan William Waldrop, Landon Robert Waldrop and Jocelyn Michelle Waldrop.  She is also survived by her sister Pamela Capone.
