Beloved mother, grandmother, and friend
1944–2025
Linda Tate passed away peacefully on August 4, 2025, at the age of 81, surrounded by the love of her family.
Linda dedicated her professional life to the medical field, beginning her career as a transcriptionist and rising to a senior-level position as manager of transcriptionist personnel, supervisor of TSI training school, working alongside the owner of the company. Her dedication, skill, and leadership were deeply valued and respected throughout her long and meaningful career.
Linda's true legacy lies in the love she gave so freely to those around her. She was a devoted mother to Darin O'Connell (Melanie O'Connell), Mike O'Connell, Ryan O'Connell (Suzanne O'Connell), and the late Allison Campos. She was also a proud grandmother to Danielle and Brett O'Connell (children of Darin), Alex and Skylar O'Connell (children of Mike), and Terry Lee, Aidan, Erin, Dylan, and Johnathan O'Connell (children of Ryan). Linda's love for her family was unwavering, and her presence enriched the lives of all who knew her. She was also a cherished mother-in-law to Matt Campos and held a special place in the hearts of many.
A true animal lover, Linda always had room in her heart, and often her home, for furry companions. She found joy in gardening, creating beauty with her hands and cultivating peace in the world around her. She also had a passion for painting, using color and creativity to express herself and bring joy to others. Whether through her brushstrokes, her flowers, or her kindness, Linda filled the world with beauty in countless ways.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, George and Ruth Komadina; her brothers, George and Phil Komadina; and her daughter, Allison Campos.
Her quiet strength, gentle humor, and generous spirit made her an unforgettable presence in the lives of those she loved. She will be missed beyond measure and remembered always, for her kindness, her courage, and her unwavering love.
