Linda Jonel Bailey Robbins, 83, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many, peacefully passed away on July 29, 2024, in Cypress, Texas, surrounded by her children.
Linda was born to the late Harold and Dorothy Bailey on October 12, 1940, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She attended Brownsville High School, where she was named Queen of Southern Charm during her senior year. She continued her education at The University of Texas, where she met the love of her life, Clarence Burton "Burt" Robbins. Linda and Burt married in Joliet, Illinois on September 10, 1960.
From an early age, Linda had a deep passion for music, and often expressed her talents by singing and playing the piano. She actively participated in several church choirs and singing groups. Linda and Burt loved traveling in their RV and enjoyed many wonderful trips exploring new destinations. Linda also found great joy in reading, and especially treasured the time she spent taking "nature walks" with her grandchildren.
Linda is survived by her daughter, Stacie Cravens and husband Brian, grandson, Carter Cravens, granddaughter, Natalie Cravens, son, Chris Robbins and wife Brandy, granddaughters Alexis, Ashlyn, and Carissa Robbins, and many cousins, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Burt Robbins, parents, Harold Bailey and Dorothy Bailey Paulson and her sister, Carol Hrehor and husband Ron.
A small family & friends gathering will be held in late 2024 to honor the life of Linda Robbins.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to World Wildlife Fund (www.protect.worldwildlife.org) or Abandoned Animal Rescue (www.aartexas.org) in her name.
