Linda Liggitt Mahoney, more commonly known as "Mimi," 67, passed away surrounded by her family on September 19, 2018. While Linda lived in Spring, Texas since 1978, Linda had a special place in her heart for her hometown of Lisbon, Ohio. Linda's greatest joy in life was her family and being a Mimi to her precious grandkids: Poet, Violette, Nolan, Logan, and Jack. Linda led a life full of love, compassion for others, and had a wicked sense of humor that endeared her to everyone she met.

Like her family life, Linda dedicated her career to caring for others, and spent the majority of her 40 year nursing career at Houston Northwest Medical Center. A leader in the Emergency Department, Linda mentored hundreds of nurses and was fondly known for her enthusiasm for Christmas.

Linda is survived by her children and their spouses: Amy & Clint Harris, Richard Mahoney, Ryan Mahoney, and Erin & Brandon Bingham; her siblings: Judy & Bill Chappel, Jerry & Diane Liggitt, Fred & Linda Liggitt, Delores Liggitt, Betty Liggitt and Mary Anne Liggitt; and was preceded in death by her parents: Charles & Marian Liggitt; and siblings: Jack Liggitt, Maxine Roberts, and Don Liggitt.

Linda was truly a light in the world, and will be greatly missed by the many who loved her.

Funeral services will be held at the Klein Funeral Home in Tomball, Texas on Sunday, September 23, 2018. The viewing will begin at 1pm, followed by the service at 2pm.
