Linda Louise Lucas, 85, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother passed on December 11,2022,

She was born September 5, 1937 in Ennis, Texas to James Dewey Thornton and Bessie Louise Huff. Linda graduated from Ennis High School in 1956. She met the love of her life James Preston Lucas in high school and were married in May of 1956. Linda worked a few years before becoming a homemaker and dedicating her life to family.

Linda had a love for the Lord and also enjoyed gardening and travelling. They spent countless weekends camping in the mountains and waterskiing on local lakes.

Linda was preceded in death by her husband of 62 year James Lucas. She is survived by her children Ricky Don Lucas, Paul Michael Lucas, and Vicky Lynn Lucas Crawford. Five Grandchildren Christopher Crawford, Jennifer Crawford Leon, Allison Lucas Honeycutt, Jessica Lucas, and Trey Lucas. Six Great Grandchildren Kassidy Crawford, Annabelle Leon, Hunter Honeycutt, Abby Honeycutt, Lucas Honeycutt, and Paisley Honeycutt.
