Linda Yvonne Garris 77 of Mt. Pleasant passed away June 20, 2023.  She was born August 28, 1945 in Houston, Texas to the late Clovis Rayford and Doris May Hibbard.  She married Charles H. Garris on April 17, 1970.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband.

She is survived by her daughters, Sharron Cathey and husband John; Carol Maciel and husband Guillermo; sons, John Garris, and James Garris and wife Sarah; grandchildren, Cole Cathey, Holden Cathey, Alden Garris, Abigail Garris, Isabella Garris and Julian Maciel; brothers, Aaron Hibbard and Ronald Hibbard and wife Rae Ann.
