Linda V. Dailey of Cypress, Texas passed away on July 2, 2021 at home after a lengthy battle with complications due to dementia.

Linda is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Dan Dailey, her loving children, Sean (Kristi) Dailey and Jenna Dailey; her mother Shirley Van Branteghem; mother-in-law Lois Dailey; sisters Susan (Larry) Ansel of Michigan, Karen (Sam) Palermo of New York, Debra (Mike) Dear of New York, and many additional in-laws, cousins, nieces, and nephews from both sides of her and Dan's family.

She is predeceased by her father, Ferdinand Van Branteghem, father-in-law Harold Dailey, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Linda actually met Dan on a 'long distance' blind date while they were both vacationing in Miami, FL; she was living in Rochester, NY and he was living in Opelousas, LA at the time.  The two were later married in April, 1982, and initially settled in a small Texas town.  Frequent moves placed them in Louisiana (2 locations), Texas (4 separate locations), Germany and England eventually residing in Cypress, TX.  She started a family in 1985 with her children seeing various parts of LA, TX, Germany, and England along with her as well.

After starting her family, Linda was very much involved with her children's school activities and their education.  She was known as a very good cook and often hosted the various parties and celebrations in whichever neighborhood she resided in at the time.  Additionally, she was very much into arts and crafts, always making new ornaments, sewing new articles of clothing, and crafting seasonal decorations of all kinds.

In accordance with the family's wishes, a funeral service will not be held.  A celebration of life for family and friends will be held in New York at a later date.  Linda will be cremated and laid to rest at Klein Memorial Park CyFair Cemetery in Cypress, Texas.

Linda had an impact on whomever she came in contact with.  She will be forever remembered and loved by family and friends.
