Linda J. McCathern Cauley was born on June 8, 1945, in Gracemont, OK to James Arnold and Grace Ellen (Hawley) McCathern. She passed away on June 21, 2016 at her home in Magnolia, TX at the age of 71. She married Doug Cauley on September 18, 1964, in Sherman, TX. They have lived in Magnolia for the past 23 years. Linda loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, spending time with her children and grandchildren, and reading. She loved her husband, Doug, of 51 years so much and enjoyed time spent with her family and friends. She will be greatly missed.

Survivors include: Husband, Doug Cauley of Magnolia; Children, Cindy and husband Bob Horning of Spring, TX, and Kent and wife Jennifer Cauley of Sugar Land, TX; Grandchildren Ethan, Alex, Kyle, and Emma; two siblings, Laverna Grokett and Betty Louise Wyrick and husband Warren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Grace McCathern; siblings, Raymond, Bobby, Gene, Bill, Paul and Jerry McCathern, Frances Brown, Ruby Downey, and Irene Alford.
