Linda (Lee Ward) Kyle Britton, 82 years old, of Cypress, Texas passed away March 18, 2025. She was born January 4th, 1943, in Cameron, Texas to the late Ervin Everett (Pat) Ward and Effie Marie (Stone) Ward. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Norma Jean (Ward) Moody; her husband, Philip Lee Kyle; and her husband Thomas David Britton.

She is survived by her daughter Tracy Lee (Kyle) Pyle and husband David Curtis Pyle, and her son Philip Ward Kyle and his wife Danielle Rose (Williams) Kyle. In addition, she is survived by her grandchildren Heather Marie (Pyle) Olson and husband Craig Allen Olson; Randi Michelle (Pyle) Jackson and husband Jeremy Alan Jackson; Charles Philip Pyle and wife Holly D'Ann (Ford) Pyle; Olivia Katherine (Pyle) Miller and husband Brian Matthew Edwin Miller; Chloe Pacheco (Pyle) Ruiz and husband Adrian Ruiz; Logan Robert Kyle, and Emerson Lee Kyle; and her great-grandchildren, Michael Lee Gallagher; Aiden Curtis Gallagher; Ellie Loree Gallagher; Kaylee Ann Olson; Allen Jacob (AJ) Olson; Ava Grace Pyle; Lucas Philip Pyle; Jefferson William Jackson; and Riley Jane Jackson.

Linda was a majorette and accomplished baton twirler in high school and was named FFA (Future Farmers of America) Sweetheart. Following graduation, she met her husband, Phil Kyle, and they were married December 23, 1961, until his passing December 11,1981. She had a long career with AT&T in upper management before retiring at age 54. She met and married Tom Britton October 25, 1996, and they enjoyed retirement and grandchildren until his passing February 28, 2015.

Called Granny by her grandchildren, Linda will be missed but her legacy continues on in her two children, seven grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. She looked forward to her home in heaven, where she now is resting in the arms of her Savior.
