Obituary

Linda Blankenheim died Thursday, January 9 th , in Houston, TX. She was born in Milwaukee, WI, on November 12, 1947, to Fred and Glenna Kegel. Linda attended St. Mary's grade school, Devine Savior High School, Milwaukee Area Technical College, and the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. She married Roger Blankenheim on June 3 rd , 1972, and together they moved south to Texas, where they raised two boys, Chris and Jon.

Linda worked with computers for several years, as a data processor at Stolper Steel in Milwaukee and an educator at Redd School in Houston, before discovering her passions for art, yoga, and energy medicine. She also enjoyed gardening and loved her backyard. Through the years, she lovingly raised several pets, including Candy, Snowball, Princess, Audrey, and Magic. She loved to read mystery books, play dice and card games with friends, and enjoyed music of all types.

Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Roger; she is survived by her sons Chris and Jon, their wives Erin and Jennifer, two grandsons Sean and Ryan, and brother Rick. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Gail Blankenheim.

Memorial gifts may be made in her name to the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association.

Her memorial service will be held on Friday, January 17 th , 2:00pm, at Klein Funeral Home located at 16131 Champion Forest Dr., Spring, TX 77379.
