Love leaves a memory no one can steal.  Please join us to celebrate a life well lived of Linda Louise Manlove Auer on Sunday, January 7, 2018 at Klein Funeral Home located at 9719 Wortham Blvd, Houston, TX 77065 2:00 – 5:00 PM. Linda was born in Chicago, Illinois on May 15, 1950.  Her family moved to Houston when she was only 3 months and she has been a Texan ever since.  She married Mike Auer, Sr. on October 8, 1966 and they raised three wonderful children.  She was an amazing mother, teacher and wife.  She loved travelling, playing games with her family, cooking, baking, entertaining guests, teaching, and reading.  Her joy became even greater when she became a Grandmother or as they call her "Deda."  She has five wonderful grandchildren that she loved to the moon and back and they love her just as much.

She is preceded in death by her mom and dad, James "Jim" E. Manlove and Berth Nell "Nellie" Manlove. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Mike Auer, Sr.; Son, Mike Auer Jr. and his wife, Melissa, and their 2 children Alex and Zoey Auer; daughter, Michelle Neff, and her husband, Juan, and their 2 children Dylan and Alyssa Neff; daughter, Heather Phillips and her daughter Brianna Phillips; brother, Jimmy Manlove; brother, Keith Manlove, and his wife, Sharon.  She has so many more family members and friends that meant so much to her and made her life so happy and complete.  If desired, friends and family can make memorial contributions to the National MS Society http://www.nationalmssociety.org/ or the American Cancer Society at http://www.donatecancer.org/ .
