Lina Sanchez was born on August 4, 1945 in Victoria, Tarlac, Philippines to Catalino Dizon Sanchez and Victoria Rigor Sanchez.

After graduating high school in 1962, Lina attended Far Eastern University in Manila. She majored in literature and minored in accounting receiving a Bachelor's degree.

Lina was employed with Cognizant Technology Solutions for many years as an accountant until her retirement in July 2020.

Lina was joined in holy matrimony with Sixto Blancaver for 48 years.  To this union, two children were born.

Lina enjoyed most of her time spending with family, reading, and going on cruises.

Lina Sanchez Blancaver departed this life on December 11, 2021. She was preceded in death by:  Catalino Dizon Sanchez, Victoria Rigor Sanchez, Doroteo Sanchez, Corazon Sanchez Kayanan and Eduardo Sanchez Jr.

She leaves to cherish her memories to her husband Sixto Blancaver, her two children Phillip (Erika) and Steven (Joann), her three sisters Clarita Aloquina, Aurora Sanchez, Zenaida Sanchez-Delacruz, her brother Eduardo Sanchez, her four grandchildren Madeleine, Andrew, Emma and Matthew and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
