Lillian Hildebrandt Krahn, of Klein, TX passed away Sunday, June 5, 2016. Lillian was a lifelong member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Klein, TX and long time member of the Ladies Aid. She and a dear friend made the first Christmons for the tree at Christmas. She always had a heart for the shut/ins and Elderly and asked the Pastor to have regular visitation and devotion with them at their homes. She was always willing to serve where needed, meals for the bereaved, hand-making over 900 baptismal napkins, Sunday School teacher and board member of the LWML Golden Harvest Zone. She was a life time member of Spring Creek Historical Society and Good Samaritan Home and worked with the founding of Klein Historical Society. She was Chapter Mother of Klein FHA in 1964. Lillian loved canning fresh vegetables and taking care of her grand children and great-grandchildren when needed, fishing and traveling with her husband. She was preceded in death by her husband Earl of 68 years, parents Otto Hildebrandt and Pauline Hassler Hildebrandt Schultz, infant sister Dorothy, Juanita Hildebrandt Strack Salinas and son-in-law Leslie Schroeder. She is survived by her son Harold Krahn and wife Aline, daughter Diane Krahn Schroeder, four grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, brother Homer Hildebrandt and wife Rosalie and numerous relatives, nieces and nephews.
