Lewis Kash's Obituary
Lewis Le Sueur Kash, 76, died on Saturday, March 24, 2018, in The Woodlands, Texas. He was born on Monday, May 19, 1941, in Nashville, Tennessee, to Dr. Roscoe and Mrs. Ladye Ruth Kash.
In 1966, he married Sarah J. Bonner; they were married for 50 years until Sarah's death in 2016. Together they raised their son, Stephen, and their daughter, Jeanette. Lewis was a full-time Church of Christ minister for 30 years. Then, in 2003, he was ordained as a Lutheran Pastor, LCMS, at St. John Lutheran Church in Beaumont, Texas. Lewis will be remembered for his love of guitar music and nature, teaching theology, and, most importantly, a desire to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Lewis is survived by his son, Stephen Kash; his daughter, Jeanette Kash; and his brother, Graham Kash.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 28, at Living Word Lutheran Church, 9500 N. Panther Creek Drive, The Woodlands, TX 77381. Friends are invited to visit with the family beginning at 10 a.m.
