Leslie Alan Smith (Les) passed away on September 21, 2017, at the age of 72. He was born on July 12, 1945 in Houston, Texas to Robert and Diana Smith. Les graduated from Milby High School and the University of Houston. After serving in the United States Army, he worked in Sales in the plastics industry for his entire career, retiring from ColorMatrix Corporation (now PolyOne). He is preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Janna Lynn. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Sandra Johnson Smith, daughter Kelli Smith McNulty, her husband Michael, granddaughters Janna Lynn and Meredith Ann McNulty, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; daughter Robin Smith Yandre, her husband Tom, grandson Thomas Edward III, granddaughter Elyse Rebecca Yandre, of Spring; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Charley and Jo Ann Johnson, niece Cathy Johnson, niece Cristi Johnson Hufstedler and her husband Tyson, great niece and nephew Haley and Jake Hufstedler, all of Spring; and cousin Bill and wife Mary Banfield of Culver, Indiana. A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 25, 2017 at 10 a.m. at Klein Funeral Home in Tomball. Visitation will be on Sunday, September, 24, 2017 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., and again on Monday at 9 a.m. until the service begins. Burial will be at Copeland Chapel Cemetery on Copeland Chapel Road in Montgomery, Texas. Pallbearers are Mike Allman, Ray Balsam, Jeff Hoffman, Tyson Hufstedler, Steve Marmion, and Patrick Pendleton.
