Leslie Michelle Rizer, 42, of Tomball, Texas, passed away unexpectedly on December 18, 2024. While her time with us was far too short, Leslie's life was marked by a radiant faith in Jesus, a deep love for her family, and a commitment to bringing joy to everyone she met.

Leslie was born on September 8, 1982 in Salem, Oregon. Her love for Jesus was the cornerstone of everything she did. Leslie's faith was not just something she believed, it was something she lived—radiating through her smile, her kindness, and her unwavering trust in God's plan. She had a light that drew people in, leaving an imprint on all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Leslie's family was the heart of her world. She was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She is survived by her loving husband, Jeff Rizer, her cherished daughter, Payton Maloney, and her two step-sons, Cole Rizer and Brayden Rizer. She also leaves behind her devoted parents, Martin and Debra Hegr,  her brother, Eric Hegr, and sister-in-law, Hannah Hegr. Leslie was preceded in death by her beloved grandparents, who had a lasting influence on her faith and life.

Her career as a Mortgage Loan Officer  was a reflection of her integrity and dedication. But it was her heart that truly defined her—her commitment to God, her family, and her friends was what made her extraordinary. Leslie's faith was the very essence of who she was. She lived her life by the principles of love, grace, patience, and kindness, and she showed others how to lean into faith, trusting that God's plan is greater than any of our own understanding.

Her true passion also lay in her family and friends. She loved worship music, time in Port O'Connor with friends, soaking up the sun, and cheering for the Houston Astros. Leslie was beyond proud of her daughter, Payton, and nothing brought her more joy than watching Payton play volleyball. She traveled to every game, cheering her on with a heart full of love and admiration. To Leslie, Payton's dedication, strength, and spirit were a constant source of pride, and she cherished every moment spent supporting her daughter.

Leslie was also deeply devoted to her husband, Jeff, and her step-sons, Cole and Brayden. The bond they shared as a family was a testament to her unwavering love and the importance she placed on relationships and connection.

She had a special way of making everyone feel welcomed and loved, and her love for her friends was unconditional. To Leslie, time spent with loved ones was the most precious gift she could offer—and she gave it freely, with her whole heart.

Those who knew Leslie best will remember her infectious smile, her laughter that filled a room, and her ability to bring warmth and light into any situation. Leslie had a gift for making others feel heard, loved, and valued. Though she would never want to be the center of attention, she had a natural ability to shine, and her light was rooted in her faith. It was through her relationship with Jesus that she found strength, joy, and the ability to offer grace to others, no matter the circumstances. Leslie's life was a reflection of God's love—always patient, kind, and full of grace.

Leslie's legacy will live on in the lessons she taught us about unconditional love, patience, and the importance of leaning on faith. She leaves behind a profound impact on her family, friends, and all who knew her. Her love for Jesus and her family will never be forgotten, and we take comfort in knowing she is now with her Savior, in the place she lived her life for.

A celebration of Leslie's life will be held on Monday December 30th, 2024 at 10:00 AM at The Ark Fellowship Church - 13237 Kluge Rd, Cypress, TX
