Leslie Ann Bohn was born May 6, 1955, in Fargo, North Dakota, and passed away following a long, courageous battle with lung cancer on February 6, 2017. She grew up in Bloomington, Minnesota, as the second oldest of five children. After high school she married the love of her life, Larry Lindquist, and moved to New Germany, Minnesota, to give it a go at farm life. After the birth of two children, Mark and Angie, farm life was not for her and the family eventually settled in Magnolia, Texas. Leslie owned and operated her own beauty salon, Suburban Styles, for 27 years. She loved to travel, shop, and spend time with her grandchildren, Jordan and Karson, who knew and loved her as "Lulu."
She was preceded in death by her father, Douglas Bohn.
She is survived by her mother, Mabel Bohn; her husband of 42 years, Larry Lindquist; son, Mark Lindquist; daughter, Angie Swearengin and husband Paul and their sons, Jordan and Karson; brother, Dan Bohn and wife Deb; sister, Liz Gangl and husband Dan; sister, Julie Geiselhart and husband Dick; brother, Bill and wife Vicky; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 11, at Abiding Faith Lutheran Church, 33133 State Highway 249, Pinehurst, TX 77362.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Abiding Faith Lutheran Church.
