Obituary

Leslie Stacy Lagunas, age 23, passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2020.
Leslie was born and raised in Houston Texas and attended Jersey Village High School.
First and foremost, Leslie was a dedicated mother.  She loved and treasured her son and daughter every second of their lives. She was born to be a mom. Her kids were her pride and joy and she never failed to let the world know how much she loved them. Leslie had a sociable personality which is how she touched the hearts of the many people that came to know her. Making friends came easy to her. She laughed and cracked jokes even in the worst of times. She always had a smile on her face and she tried to capture that all the time with the enormous amount of selfies she took. Leslie loved cooking for her family. Any chance she'd get she would make a big feast for her siblings. Leslie lived with her sister and two brothers who she had a bond with that no one could ever break. They were her best friends. She always said "y'all are my ride or die". She was very proud of her siblings, especially her brother Benny who is in the military. She  always encouraged him to further his career in it. Every time he wore his uniform her face would light up. Her brother Erick was like a son to her and she always made sure he was taken care of. They loved to cuddle and watch Netflix together. There's nothing she wouldn't do for her brothers and sister. Family always came first for her.
Leslie is survived by her son, Matthew and daughter, Emelie. her sister, Maria Vanessa Lagunas and partner Amber, brothers, Benny, Erick, Hugo Lagunas, her mother, Erika Hernandez and father Benito Lagunas. Leslie will always be loved and missed by all whose lives she touched.
