It is with great sadness that the family of Leroy E. Jones announces his passing after a long illness, on Friday, August 17, 2018, at the age of 79 years.  Leroy will forever be remembered by his devoted wife of 56 years and best friend, Patricia (Derr) Jones; his three sons, Terry, Todd and Kevin Jones and his wife Shannon; his daughter Kaye Jones Finster and her husband Jimmy.  Leroy was the proud Pappoo of five grandchildren:  Kyle Finster, Bailey Finster, Madison Finster, Georgia Jones and Riley Jones.  He is also survived by his sister, Edna Farrar and his sister in law, Lois Jones.  He was predeceased by his parents, William E. Jones and Allie Prestwood Jones and his brother, Raymond Jones.

Leroy was a native Houstonian and graduated from Sam Houston High School (Class of 1957).  He also attended the University of Houston.  He was a leading commercial HVAC contractor in Houston.  He lived a beautiful life with his immediate family close by.

John 16:22:  So you have sorrow now, but I will see you again; then you will rejoice, and no one can rob you of that joy.
